Kaku's Rambles 211 - Shake That Dragon
Two weeks ago, I talked about Dragon Ball as a franchise and brought up how I feel the show is too reliant not just on Goku and Vegeta, but making sure they never grow and change as characters, and often regress back to their worst points. However, that's not the only thing that really aggrivates me about the franchise, and honestly this could extend to even the shows that try to follow in its footsteps, aka the Sons of Dragon Ball, in the same way you might say "Les Enfante Terribles" or "Sons Of Liberty." Either way, it boils down to the bare minimum of doing absolutely nothing with some of your best characters and not giving them a fair shake. Of course, I could talk all day about how I couldn't get into Naruto because I found Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura to be the least interesting and most aggrivating to listen to and the worst choice for main characters, or little I could muster a shit to give about One Piece as I got tired of blatant gluttonous idiot saves the day every time
